More Than 110 Economic Masters Trained By Vietnam-Netherlands Project
More than 110 masters of developed economics have been trained at Ho Chi Minh City Economics University (HCMCEU) under a Vietnam-Netherlands cooperation project.
The project has since 1994 held eight post-graduate courses. Two excellent graduates of the fifth course, Le Van Chon and Le Quang Thanh Truc, have been awarded scholarships to study at a Dutch institute, the SSIN, in three months.
At the two-year courses, students are taught in English by lecturers from the Social Science Institute of the Netherlands (SSIN) and have to defend their masters’ theses in Engligh. Outstanding students are chosen to study in the Netherlands.
Also under the project, teachers from HCMEU and SSIN have exchanged experiences in training and research.
